Either way, after losing most of my production area (aka, part of my basement) to storage for home renovations (A good chunk of stuff from our kitchen remodel seemed to make it down there and then never left!) I have finally resumed full on production
Last night was a bumpy restart though. I had 5 gallons of pineapple mead ready to bottle up, and some equipment issues left me less than satisfied with the result. The mead turned out great, but it ended up with a bit more sediment in the bottle than I care for. Ok, a LOT more. I expect it to be clear in the bottle with minimal decanting.
Still, the offending equipment has already been dealt with and will be replaced before the next batches come ready.
Next up, making beer again this weekend! (as long as Sheila says its ok)
Nothing fancy, just a lawnmower type beer to have on hand during the summer.
I'll get some pics of the pineapple mead posted if I can. I was too busy bottling to think of taking pictures last night to get the good ones though.
