Yes, they do make good Cabs in Michigan.
2010 will be a "Vintage Year" in most of Michigan for the Cabernet Savignon. I've heard maybe the best ever. I've got a few cases reserved for myself already. Should be great in 3-4 years.
If you happen upon a Contessa or a Round Barn Cab, give it a try.
