ran across some Vermont Creamery quark - quark was a tasty treat in Germany, so why not . . .

oops. the German quark was semi-sweet tending to yogurt. the Vermont stuff right tangy! needs something . . .

found a recipe for a quark cheese cake - caught my eye as it calls for separating the eggs, making the mix, then fold the beaten egg whites back in.

melted some semi-sweet chocolate to do a chocolate cheese cake....

well - don't try this at home. did not work - it's so not good it's headed for the garbage,,,, not cheesy, blah taste, DW found the only good bit was the graham cracker crust . . .

yup, but not by intent. the recipe called for a 9" springform pan - it was way too much for a 'std' pie plate...

I applaud members for posting their fails as well as their successes - thanks, C-man!

I've never had quark and have been curious to try it. Now ... maybe not.
