Default Lobster Roll

This evening I had the lobster roll from Stanley's in Menemsha and first rate as always. The cherry stone clams were good, as well, and can't wait to go back.

Wow, Johnny, that's just huge chunks of lobster on some sort of bread, right? No mayo ... any butter?

They've done all the work for you! Can't beat that, no matter what the cost!

The lobster was on a hot dog bun and with butter only. They do a great job at Menemsha Fish Market. He doesn't get the business parson's do but his seafood is just as good - they are all relatives.

I had a plate of clams, too, and will have to do them again before I leave.

Here is a photo of lobster rolls I made last year.
I used mayo, lemon juice, tarragon and chives.
Next time I'll add some celery and a little Old Bay as well.

I would love that and your mixture is very similar to what I use for chicken salad.

I did two big lobster tails for New Years Eve - we couldn't eat all so made lobster rolls today. I forgot to toast the buns but it was all good.

We had two 20 ounce tails - next time I'll go smaller but this is what she requested. I pan fried a porterhouse in bacon grease and ghee to go with this. New Years Eve 2017...
