I fried the two shanks using the instant pot fry feature. Of course, had to do them one at a time. There was so much meat, veg, and fluid, I had to get out the other crockpot.

There evidently is a higher learning curve on the the new instant pot. Some of the veg were done and some were al dente. The beef shanks were done and very good.
