Cupcake papers that are NOT pregreased

All my life I have used cupcake papers for cupcakes, muffins, etc., and they've easily come out. I bought the kind my neighborhood stores carries, and every single muffin sticks!

Could it be that not all brands are pregreased ?

I have never experienced what you have described. Are you overfilling them? I grease the top of the muffin pan and use paper liners often without a bit of trouble.

I've never seen liners that were pre-greased...

Me neither, and really never had a problem. But now that you mention it, I'll bet cupcake liners impregnated with silicone (like parchment paper) would be an interesting marketing angle. Any inventors in the house?

Well, some have choc chips which have fat, or the natural fat in an egg, but that's all. Thanks, all, for helping !
