I use a few different cereals than you do, LT, but I LOVE this stuff!!! I am so addicted to it, that I eat most of a giant batch of it by myself.

Therefore, I haven't made it in several years, LOL!

A couple of months ago, my roommate hinted about my making this again (I made it a couple of times when we were roommates in our 20's). I was non-committal, but I did make a double batch this past weekend for her birthday.

Lee's Chex Mix

4 cups each of the following cereals:
Wheat Chex
Corn Chex
Rice Chex
Cheerios
1/2 bag of thin pretzel sticks
1 can peanuts
Cheese Nips (optional)
2 cups corn oil
4 T Worcestershire sauce
1 T. garlic powder
1/2 T. garlic salt
1/2 T. seasoned salt

Mix dry seasonings together.

In a very large disposable aluminum foil pan, mix together all other ingredients except for oil and Worcestershire sauce. Mix in the oil, and sprinkle the Worcestershire on, stirring again. Sprinkle half the seasoning mix on, stirring.

Bake mixture in 250 oven for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes, sprinkling more of the seasoning mixture on each time, and sprinkling more Worcestershire sauce on, if desired.

Cool mix before packing in containers.

I love that stuff! I've been buying the Cheez-It Double Cheese Snack Mix to satisfy my craving. It has these little baked Chee-to-like things in it .

Our recipe is similar to Lees's except pecans in addition to the peanuts.

Made a batch of this today.

I didn't take new pictures because today's batch looks exactly like the pictures I took in July last year.

My mother has made this ever since I was little, it's a Christmas tradition in our house. My brother recently added his own touch by adding hot sauce to the oil/butter mixture

Bump.

Made this again, using my old recipe (very similar to LuckyTrim's).

I DO sprinkle a few drops more of Worcestershire and a couple of shakes of seasoning, just about every time I stir.

This year's batch is all done and packaged up.

I'm going to have to hit the thrift store to get more Christmas cookie tins.

The thankfully soon to be ex-son-in-law puts the little bagel chips in his. Have to admit he does well on the Chex mix.

I love this stuff!
Used to make it to take to work quite often for snack table sharing.

Anyone remember the snack that came in a box like this when we were kids?
I believe Mr.Salty was the brand, but can't recall the name.
