Default Vietnamese cinnamon???

One of my best friends, another foodie, was extolling the virtues of Vietnamese cinnamon, saying it was vastly superior to any other.

I just watched an episode of America's Test Kitchen yesterday and they taste-tested 4 different cinnamons. The Vietnamese came out on top.

So, I ordered some from Penzy's today - some for myself and some for Christmas gifts.

Anyone have experience with this stuff?

I opened a bottle of this and tasted it. WOW!!!

It is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! It is sweet, unlike regular cinnamon, which makes the flavor POP!

I tried some on my cold cereal and it was magnificent! I'll try some on my oatmeal tomorrow, and try to find other excuses to use it!

Glad I ordered two other bottles for Christmas gifts!

Bump for CarolinaCooking.

Here's the link to it at Penzy's Spices. http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penze...scinnamon.html

I got the 1.7 oz jar, which will last me several lifetimes. Get the smaller jar!

You will love this stuff, Carolina!
