I have only frozen partially cooked just till tender broccoli and cauliflower.

yes. I like to lay stuff out on a large flat surface (cookie sheet, broiler pan, etc) in a thin layer and let them freeze overnight. then bag them. homespun version of IQF.
it the stuff is wet, thin wipe some oil the surface so it will release easier. this is sweet corn cut from the cob - I do the same for peas, beans, green pepper, spaetzle.... |
