Mix together and bring to a boil:
1 c sugar
2 sticks margarine (1/2 lb)
1 egg
1/2 c canned evaporated milk
Add:
1 c graham cracker crumbs
1 c chopped pecans
1 c shredded coconut
Line cookie tin with whole graham crackers and pour filling over. Cover filling with whole graham crackers and press together.
Icing:
1 stick margarine, melted
6 tsp canned milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c chopped pecans
2 c powdered sugar
Mix together until smooth and creamy using enough canned milk for spreading consistency. Spread over top crust of graham crackers. Cool.
Slice into bars.
