We had homemade chicken salad on brioche buns and we have homemade fruit salad like my grandmother used to make (to the best of my memory) for dessert.

The marinated steak didn't fly...
Tomorrow will be better.
Mommy T took GD to the Dr in Rockaway, and so she brought take out from the Hibernia Diner on the way home.
It was breaded fish over yellow rice and shrimp. Pea soup and a salad. It hit the spot.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Never explain yourself. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it anyway.

Thanks Lee.
I'm going to start making them more often.
Now that corn?
It left a lot to be desired.
I don't recall shoepeg ever being chewy.
Almost like hominy. 🤔

Got a new beef rub as a gift from a friend and I tried it on my grilled strip steak tonight. OMG, it was fantastic!

Had to taste-test a little piece on the end before I took the pic. So good!

With a big tossed salad for dinner.
