We lost our cat once. Searched the entire *!#% house for her, tearing it apart. Knew she hadn't gotten out by accident since nobody had been out since last seen. Scared to death she had died because she would always come sooner or later when called. Finally gave up, figured she'd either come out on her own or we'd start to smell her. Late that night, we're watching TV with the Christmas tree lights on and tree starts shaking. Out she pops giving some big yawns, stretching and heading for the food/water bowls. The *!#% cat had crawled in the tree and went to sleep. She'd never shown any interest whatsoever in Christmas trees until that year so it never entered our minds to look inside the tree.
