1 1/2 lbs. fresh broccoli
2 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 pkg cream cheese (4oz), almost melted
1/2 cup 1/2&half
1/4 cup milk
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. melted butter
Wash and trim broccoli. Cut into spears. Cook broccoli covered in a small amount of water about 10 minutes or until crisp tender and drain.
In a bowl combine beaten eggs, milks, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Arrange broccoli in a shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
Spoon cheese mixture over it; stir together bread crumbs and butter. Put over cheese mixture.
Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and egg mixture is set.
