I bought some lobster base specifically to make lobster bisque, but that won't be happening tonight. Last night was pan seared scallops, saffron rice, and steamed brocolli...such a creature of habit .
Tonight it's roast beef in onion gravy, potatoes and carrots on the side, and a bottle of pinot noir. It was too tough last night so it went in the crock pot and is now perfect.
All of everyone's Italian offerings sound so good but will settle for hot beef sandwiches tonight. It's all I have energy to do - picked up a bug that's knocked me down.
