mixing sausage

Does anyone know of a set of blades, or other thing-a-ma-jig for an ordinary Sunbeam or Mixmaster that can be used to mix ground meat and seasonings in 4-6 pound lots for suasage making" :confused:

Or would I need a "special" mixer??

you know i dont even use a mixer when i mix the meat for sausages..

i find that it takes away from the texture and overworks it. yes a little more work but worth the added effort

your best mixer is your hands IMHO

I mix ground meats with my hands also. 5 pounds should take only a few minutes. I put mine on a flat surface and mix away. A Mixmaster would not hold 5 pounds, and you would still end up having to mix it by hand. IMO
