Default E coli on Romaine?

My store had a sale on Romaine, BOGO, so I got 2 packages of three heads each.

How worried should I be about there being E coli on them?

I must be a total chicken. I wouldn't take that chance. I imagine they put it on sale because people aren't buying it...must be lots of other chickens out there .
