An unexpected barbecue lit up the roadway on Interstate Highway 80 just south of Chicago after a truck carrying 50,000 pounds of ribs went up in flames early Wednesday morning, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The fire originated in the breaking system of the truck that was transporting the 25 tons of meat. The driver of the truck escaped unharmed, but his cargo was not as lucky. The entire trailer was consumed by fire, roasting the meat along with it, said Illinois State Police Master Sgt. David Bird.
Bird could not identify what type of ribs they were, but did say "there was no sauce."

I have to wonder how it smelled? I bet it smelled good!!! (even without the bbq sauce)
