Buttermilk Smokey Roast Chicken

12 chicken thighs or legs
4 cloves chopped garlic
2 c buttermilk
1 t dried thyme
1 t ground cumin
4 T liquid smoke
2 T evoo


Put the chicken in large ziplock bag, then add all ingredients except oil.
Allow to marinate at least 2 hours.

Arrange chicken on a baking sheet or in a baking dish on top of a rack.

Drizzle with the olive oil and bake at 375 for an hour.
