I made this tonight and it's now in te oven. It was a bit labour intensive but think it will be delicious for all the effort. I'll have a picture later.

I read some of the reviews of Nigella's recipe. Some people adapted it, some made it the way she wrote it and loved it.

I think I'd try it her way. Did you, John?

Yes and no. I broiled the egg plant in the oven as I didn't want to mess with the grill. The zest of one lemon was a lot and overpowering, even though it was a smallish lemon. I liked it but the rest of the family didn't. I doubt I'll make it again as it was a lot of work.
