I only use my deli slicer a couple of times a year, but when I do, I love the heck out of it!

It's a Waring Pro Slicer. It's affordable, easy to use and easy to clean. And works like a charm.

I just sliced my smoked (and chilled) corned beef, which was about 4.5 pounds. I'll have some this week and freeze the rest.

Since the price of pastrami has shot up to $10.99 a pound at my store, it's worth the effort. And fun, too.

Hint: I only buy corned beefs around St. Pat's Day when they are $1.67 a pound instead of a ridiculous $5.49/lb. usually.
