Default What have you eaten Sunday 5/19/2019 to Saturday 5/25/2019?

I think it will be chicken Parmesan for dinner tonight. Maybe some pasta on the side.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Never explain yourself. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it anyway.

Thinking about also making the carrot walnut salad that I spied on epicurious.

Had giant macaroni tonight. DD made a meat sauce.
I am Nurse Jimmy for a few days. Tina had rotator cuff surgery today.
She is home now; in bed, eating her codeine #3 pills, and chilling out on ice packs every two hours. As a matter of fact, it's time to take off the ice for two hours.

Check out the size of these.....

I have often longed for the same, LT. Packages of 2 slices or even 4 slices of bread would be big sellers around here.

We will see it some day. What say you and I invent it and market it and become millionaires?

Lee & Lucky- I've recently been freezing my bread too- I take out 6 slices and keep them in a container. I refill as needed. I am the only one on a loaf of bread. DD has her own Gluten free bread.

I used to freeze bread all the time, then if I were going to make a sandwich for work the next day, I'd take 2 slices out and have it ready in a ziploc bag.
I only buy really good breads, because like they say - a sandwich is only as good as the bread it's made on.

Saturday night I grilled a fillet mignon and a Snake River Ranch kobe NY Strip. Last night I took the leftover meat and made hash using the old Joy of Cooking recipe. The bacon is from the Amana Meat Shop and was included in a Christmas gift box from aunt.

Tonight it's toaster waffles with and fried Twin Falls breakfast sausage.

No clue for supper. I'm playing nurse for Tina's post shoulder surgery.
The blocker wore off, so she's on codeine every three hours. Doesn't even make her tired, and does nothing for the pain.

The bakery at the store I shop at has bags with 4 - 6 slices of bread. I buy the rye or black seed bread sometimes. Enough for 2 or 3 grilled cheeses or toast.
