Johnny, I suspect that this bread is NOT worth the effort that's required, ..... but I may be wrong.

You make it first and tell me if it is! :smile:

I've read that the acorn crop this year is abundant, at least, all over New England!

For some reason I never see many acorns out here in the NW. We do have small oaks but not a lot and believe it or not, they are protected. Our place in Edgartown was covered with oaks and the nuts were beginning to fall. I'd have been willing to try. I wonder if Bob's Redmill has acorn flower? The mast is good for the deer, turkey's and wood ducks.

I was interested in the acorn biscotti, but it's $22 for a dozen, then $15 shipping.

Wonder how ole' Sue's business is doing with prices like that.
