Actually, that was an eggplant that was not at all bitter. I could just eat them as they came out of the pan. Room temperature, I like to pile 3 or 4 slices between two slices of bread, and make sandwiches out of them. Sometimes, with a slice of Mild Provolone cheese.
I don't think that I've ever seen Sass eat greens, but that's what I vote for too...mustard, turnip, or collard greens with cubed smoked pork.

I'm going to make some Italian pasta salad for tomorrow. I'll use bottled Italian salad dressing. I have lots of things to add...black olives, pepperoncini, tomatoes, broccoli, etc.
Sure I eat those things, just not so frequently as others.
I love Margaret Holmes canned greens, and Lucky's stinky spinach.
Not sure about today.
I was sick as a dog yesterday and barely ate anything.

Once the temp broke, I was good to go.
I think sonny boy is coming to see me today.

Haven't had pastina in years. As a matter of fact, I cannot eat it. It sticks in my throat in behind the nasal canal, and gets stuck.
I have to tell Tina about having Pastina when she suffers with her stomach. Too much fried food puts her in a bad heartburn condition.

Tina and her friend went to church in Belvidere today because they are collecting beans for the food pantry. No plans for supper, and the only thing she can pick up, is some hot dogs at Hot Dog Johnny's.
