Another contribution from cooksie. THANKS!

Boot Scootin' Boogie - First recorded by the band Asleep at the Wheel for their 1990 album, Keepin' Me Up Nights. The song is a tribute to line dancing in a Texas-style honky-tonk. American country music duo Brooks & Dunn recorded a cover version, which was included on their 1991 debut album, Brand New Man. It became the duo's fourth single release and fourth consecutive number-one single on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles chart.

JS, I like the added intro info. Sometimes I don't even know the original writer/artist.

The pace on the Asleep at the Wheel version is a little too slow for me. They probably recorded that before the line dancing craze hit.

My favorite is Brooks and Dunn. I thought the video was good too. Kix Brooks is a master at pulling in the audience and getting them to participate. It's very entertaining to see him scooting across the stage with one leg stuck out and looking like he's just having the time of his life. He may have a little bit of attention hog in him.

I like George Strait too and particularly enjoyed that video. If you'll go to about 1:22 on that video, you'll see what I mean about Kix. Kix just can't sit there and let someone else get all the attention. He has to have his share too, gotta love him and his antics :).
