Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Can one ever have too many dip recipes??





1/4 cup butter
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen spinach, thawed
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained & chopped
2 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened
2 (16oz) pkg sour cream
1 cup grated parmesean cheese
garlic salt to taste



1. Melt butter in lg saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the spinach and artichoke hearts. Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
2. Mix cream cheese and sour cream into the spinach mixture. Stir in parmesean cheese and garlic salt. Cook stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
3. Serve warm with tortilla chips or French bread! :chef:

Me too... which is why I'm now eating...RICE CAKES and drinking water and pretending to be oh so happy about it! lolololol!!!

OOOh put some cream cheese on those rice cakes!! I have a low fat veggie cream cheese I put on mine....soooo good!!

You can never have too many dip recipes. Anybody else like to put dips like this bread bowls? I love to do that!
