My first Fatty!

This has been on my bucket list for years, and since I was going to smoke some meats this weekend, decided to finally try it.

I followed directions here http://www.smoking-meat.com/january-2010-bacon-wrapped-stuffed-sausage-fatty and they were perfect!

Got 1 pound of Jimmy Deans regular sausage, stuffed it with one of my homegrown poblanos and Neufchatel cheese.

The bacon weave was easy!

Not something one eats every week, but I'll make it again, with jalapenos next time (the poblano wasn't spicy at all).

That looks excellent. Did you bake that off in the oven or charcoal grill?

I imagine I'd like it with the milder peppers.

Thanks everybody!

Johhny, I smoked the fatty on my Weber Smokey Mountain bullet smoker, along with the other meats I bbq'd yesterday.
