Well I need to break down that whole boneless pork loin for the freezer. I am leaning towards stuffed chops and gravy with a side of butternut squash.

Any plans?

I have two green peppers that will go bad if I don't use them soon, so I'm thinking stuffed peppers for tonight. Better get my ground beef to unthawing.

batter-dipped fish & thin-cut fries seasoned w/ old bay. malt vinegar for dipping.

better thaw some bread now if i intend to have a sammich, in which case i'd skip the vinegar & old bay, make slaw, & have a primanti's-esque sammich

I'm thawing some pork posole to warm us up on this chilly, rainy evening. Actually, I think the rain is pretty much gone, but it's been raining most of the day and feels really damp.

And here is a look at my Whatchamacallit Soup! hahaha.
It was good...and wasn't that hot after all.
If DW doesn't eat it...I will Flush it! :yuk:
It's too warm for soup. :WitchBrewsSmiley:

This is actually leftovers. :) We got ourselves dinner at slightly different times and just helped ourselves out of the pot onto paper plates. It WAS a chuck roast with vegetables.

It's the home made crepes.. 1+1+1-1/4

1 cup flour
1 egg
1-1/4 cups of water.
+ a little salt .................{ makes approx. ( 16 ) 6" diameter crepes.

Sometimes I stuff the Cannoni.. But they are hard to get good ones today.

You use water? NOT milk? I use milk in my crepe batter. I will have to try it. Thanks

Looks like everyone enjoyed the pot roast, Norm, there's not much left.

I did make the stuffed peppers and reheated the leftover mac and cheese from the other night.

great jobs on the meals tonite!
i got shaky & needed food promptly (a can of pop took care of that, too, tho) & there wasn't time for a full dinner, not a veggie, either, as i forewent making slaw earlier (i'll drink a can of veggie juice later on) so plain-jane fish sammich 'twas!

Last night was the last of the last of the Thanksgiving leftovers that weren't in the freezer yet. Some nice turkey slices (amazingly still tender & juicy) heated up in the homemade gravy with the last of the turkey-day veggie sides & some fresh mashed potatoes.
