Default Trish's Italian Roast & Pasta

Trish’s Italian Roast & Pasta


* 3 to 4 pound Chuck or English Cut Roast
* 1 or 2 Large Cans of your favorite tomato sauce
(You can use fresh or stewed tomatoes for more of a marina sauce also)
* 1/2 cup dry red wine
* 1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
* 2 cloves crushed garlic
* 1 onion
* 1/4 cup olive oil with 2 teaspoons melted butter
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 2 lbs of your favorite pasta
* Salt and pepper to taste

Brown roast on sides, Sauté garlic and onion in olive oil and butter in a separate pan then add with tomato sauce to cover roast. Mix in parsley, wine, and parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Turn roast to help mix everything together. Cover pan and cook on low heat for three hours, turning roast every half hour or so. Serve the roast should fall apart with a fork. Serve this delicious tender meat over your favorite pasta.

This is such a delicious easy meal to make.
