Lemon Seeds

I don't like seeds in the lemon wedges I serve with food or drinks, so I usually stand over the sink picking them out of each wedge with a knife.

Some lemons seem to have no seeds at all, and others, like the one I just finished deseeding (disseeding? unseeding?) seem to have an infinite number of them.

Is there a way to tell which lemons will be seedless before you cut them open?

Is the an easier way to remove the seeds?

Don't you just call it "seeding", like boning a chicken?
Easy there, BT... I didn't say boning a sheep.

I sliced a lemon the other day that I couldn't believe the seeds in it. I always thought they had a "normal" amount, like oranges. I picked them out of the slices with my fingers.
Good question, Doug.

I really don't think there is a method to picking a lemon with less seeds..........but then again what do I know?

Depending on how many lemons I'm using........if it's alot I'll squeeze them over a strainer. Otherwise I do like Fred and pick the seeds out with my fingers. LOL
