Lou and I got a beautiful night in the yard last night. It may be the last time to be able to sit out there for a while. I always have beautiful pictures in the spring when everything is in bloom....but last night's pictures are proof that it's pretty cool as it settles in for the winter, too

Enchanting!

I love the mini-lights, the Mardi Gras beads on the tree branches, and I, too, am a fan of moon and stars motifs (motiVES?)

I always bring back all my beads from the quarter...and they all hang around us forever!

We were burning bits of last year's christmas tree, too! We're going to have to have one more fire..I still have the trunk left from last year's tree. Our first fire of the spring is always started with the top of that year's christmas tree. Then, during the summer, we always add a branch or two to the fire, leaving the trunk for the last fire of the season.
