Pate Crostini

One of my friends gave me a package of Truffle Pate from Trader Joe's. I decided to use it to make crostini for a New Year's Eve appetizer.

Used Martha Stewart's easy crostini recipe:

Pre-heat oven to 350

Baguette, sliced about 1/4 inch slices. Put slices on a jelly roll pan and brush both sides of bread with olive oil. Salt and pepper both sides.

Toast 7 minutes, flip bread and toast another couple of minutes.

(These were DELICIOUS!).

I spread some pate on each cooled crostini, squeezed a smear of Dijon mustard, and topped each with chopped green onions.

We ate them all.
