The first step on the Thanksgiving meal journey is buying that turkey.

Well turkey is covered. We already earned our free turkey from Shop-Rite.

The sausage stuffing is similar to the one that will be on the MGJ table. It is a recipe handed down from my grandfather a good ol' Southerner from Mississippi.

The first year we were here in Mexico, we decided that a big turkey dinner didn't seem very appetizing, so we started a new tradition of our very own - making our favorite Mexican food (tamales) for Thanksgiving. We make our tamales every year, and usually have a table-full of friends to share them with us.

That's what it's all about Karen. Appreciating and sharing your Blessings over wonderful food (whatever that may be) with friends and family.
