I thought this would be a good subject. Not sure if this is the proper forum (move if necessary).
Since all this hand washing has made my eczema go CRAZY!

BTW the topical antibiotic ointment seems to be helping. I'm not in so much pain. I can leave my finger uncovered without it feeling like hell fire.

Please post links to any and all skin care products that have helped you. TIA

Here are some of mine:

I've been using these. They only have 1 ingredient - lanolin (solid) or lanolin oil (liquid):

Now Foods, Solutions, Liquid Lanolin

NOW Solutions, Pure Lanolin, Wind and Harsh Environment Skin Protectant, Thick Jelly, For Rough Dry Skin

I also ordered some goat milk soaps - Purity Goat Milk Soap, Purity Scrub Goat Milk Soap, Oatmeal Milk & Honey Soap and Tea Tree Goat Milk Soap and Almond Solid Goat Milk Lotion from

Goat Milk Stuff

I just received them and have only tried the Purity Goat Milk Soap which is very gentile and didn't burn my injured finger.

The almond lotion smells wonderful and doesn't feel greasy on my skin.

Besides travel, half and full size bars they sell bags of soap pieces that are scraps left from cutting the bars at discounted price. Which means nothing goes to waste and is a great way to sample different types of soap. You can also buy a soap saver mesh bag to put the pieces in. Just wet , rub together and lather.

Venous infection in my leg earlier this year. Neosporin just made it much worse :(

I’ve had good results with Neeosporin before but the area involved was small.

Got a prescription ointment that really helped. Mupirocin i think?

I’ve had good luck with Eucerin Cream for patches of rough skin and rash

Ouch that looks painful.

That's the same ointment doc gave me.

This is what I'm using

Goat Milk Stuff - Almond lotion solid stick (orange label)

Peep, when you said you had eczema, I had no idea it was that bad. That looks horribly painful.

Hope you and JS are able to beat this quickly.

Boy peep, that's some pretty bad stuff.... God Bless You!

Tina has eczema since she was 13 ( On her shins ).
The dermal Dr. told her to soak in a capfull of mineral oil, and a cap full of prell shampoo. Then wrap her legs with saran wrap to keep the moisture in.
She still gets it, and it has to burn out. But now, she gets an antibiotic ointment from the derm Dr.
Hope it heals soon. Stay cool.

Thank you Cooksie and Jimmy.

The splits/cracks are still painful but the rest is just sore especially if it gets banged.
