You know, when I lived over there, we still celebrated Thanksgiving.
Yup! It wasn't that easy lol
I had to go to the butchers and find the right FRESH bird, then had to buy a pumpkin in order to make a pumpkin pie (no canned pumpkin over there), used Paxo for the stuffing, no such thing as Cool Whip etc..........
The first year we celebrated, we had a house full of friends and family proclaiming "We are going to the Durkin's for a Thanksgiving Feast! That bloody yank has turned this family upsidedown!"
TO ALL-A-YA................ MAY YOUR BIRD BE BIG AND JUICY, MAY YOUR TEAMS WIN, MAY YOUR NAP BE UNINTERRUPTED.................. .........AND MAY THERE BE A SLICE OF PIE LEFT WHEN YOU AWAKE !
