Decadent Chocolate and Raspberry Cake with Chocolate Glaze
This is an amazingly easy cake and makes a very spectacular dessert for a special occasion. Serves 10.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
6 tablespoons cocoa
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup mini-morsel chocolate chips
3/4 cup raspberries

Directions:
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in the eggs until blended. Then, beat in the sour cream and vanilla until blended. Mix the flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda and chocolate chips. Add the dry ingredients and beat until blended. Stir in the raspberries. Spread the cake batter evenly into a greased 10-inch springform pan and bake in a 325 degrees oven for about 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle, comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in pan. When cool, remove from pan and spread top and sides with Chocolate Glaze.

Chocolate Glaze:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup

Melt chocolate. Heat together butter and corn syrup until bubbly, and stir into chocolate until blended. Allow glaze to cool for 10 minutes or until slightly thickened before using on the cake.
