Copper Chef pan

My friend gave me one of these pans/pots for my birthday.

It comes with a steamer rack and a fryer basket, neither of which have I tried yet.

But I made my favorite stuffing (dressing, if you will) in it this past weekend, to go with a smoked turkey breast.

Everything done in the pot, used no butter, oil or Pam. The sausage browned beautifully, the celery and onions sautéed nicely. Added my seasoned bread crumbs and a small can of chicken broth ... wa -LA! Done!

I made the stuffing on top of the stove in the morning, put it in the fridge, then popped it in the oven in the evening to heat it up!

The next day, I fried one egg in the pan - no grease. The egg was great, but it left a little char on the pan. No problem loosening and lifting it out, though. Got rid of the char with a sponge.

I am going to get a lot of use out of this pot/pan!

CF, the infomercial is on all the time.

I was thinking that the only downside of this pan is no fond.

Lee, I see the infomercial for the fry pans but have never seen the one you have. But will keep looking. I like it, bet it would fry chicken too. CF

Andy I think that is the same pan that Lee has. It is a little above my pay grade at this time. But sure do like it. I did however mark the page you found. Thanks CF

Chilifarmer,

I believe the price has come down dramatically in some discount stores.

I use this so often that I just keep in on top of the stove for easy access.
