Looks good to me, Sass - I've been craving spag. and meatballs for a couple of weeks!

Although, John's puttanesca sounds like a great idea, too - long time, no have.

Nice job on those dogs, LT!

I have some leftover red sauce and will make some macaroni for tonight. I'm just heading out for a growler of my favorite IPA.

I ended up going to Famous Dave's for catfish fingers and a deluxe burger with slices of brisket on top. :readytoeat: I was disappointed in that they do not fill growlers. The bartender gifted me a huge chocolate sundae - her tip was generous.

I guess we're getting KFC.
I'll get the chicken waffles basket with a side of coleslaw.
I'll plate it to show you.

sea scallop stuffed king salmon steaks.
had to 'special request' the steak cuts earlier - apparently people in this burg just don't do salmon steaks....

Rusty Pelican salad. It's a red leaf lettuce salad with shrimp, mushrooms, tomatoes and hard boiled eggs with a honey mustard dressing. It was served at a restaurant on Key Biscayne, which is an island off Miami. It was their signature salad and was prepared tableside and served with bread that was lightly orange tasting. The restaurant has been around forever, although the salad is no longer served. I had the salad the night before DD was born and she hit 40 this year, and I'd been to the restaurant for a couple of years before that. She wasn't due for almost another month, but I was huge and the hostess seating us made a crack about sitting me somewhere with easy exit access just in case. She didn't know how right she was.

It was takeout from Hong Kong Palace tonight.
Egg roll to start, then Pork fried rice, and shrimp and veggies.
Now I've got a Bellyache. I forgot to take my Beano! I was so excited eating and scraping the food out of the cardboard containers, I didn't remember to take it.

Beautiful salad, Med!

Dan, that steak is gorgeous - it would be 3-4 meals for me!

Lucky, is your fried fish storebought? I may have asked you about it before. I love fish and chips and almost always order it when I go out to eat, since I HATE making it and smelling it the next morning.

Cooking for one means short-cut meals........

I'm disappointed at Mrs. Paul's - Was a Staple item way back in my bachelor days....... gone downhill since then ...( Me AND the Fillets !)

I Googled the salad, med.
Yes it looks ultra yummy.
The dressing recipe sounds fab.

Tonight I'll probably go with the patty melts, or pan burgers sans buns, ranch potatoes and something else.

The Groton fish sticks were better, I thought.
Mrs Paul's was good until they started reconstituting the fish so they could be microwave cooked.

I made fried potatoes and onions, with two thin ground beef patties.
I ate mine, and Tina mommy gave up hers to eat her cheese danish she got at the Livingston diner where her uncle lives.
I wound up pick, pick, picking, at her dish till like a hog; I ate the whole plate of her portion. (( Feeling Guilty ))

Just an hour ago, I had my cheese danish. It was so creamy and cheese filled, and the aroma of the saffron in the pastry dough, was over the top.
