These dinner rolls are easy and oh so good. You don't even have to dissolve the yeast.
No Knead Dinner Rolls (makes 12)
Beat with a spoon until smooth:
1 cup warm (not hot) water
1 egg
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 pkg. yeast
Stir in 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour.
Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm place out of drafts for 30 minutes.
Spray or grease a regular size muffin pan. Fill half full with batter. Cover and let rise 30 minutes. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven until lightly browned.
I like to remove them from the pan as soon as they are out of the oven and brush butter all over them.
