they're @ my beloved store. has anyone bought them before~ u could feed a family w/ 1 egg! i'd luv to take 1 or 2 to a family gathering. i've not used that type of egg yet. my 'sous chef' nephew would be enthralled if i brought 'em so we could prep a family meal.
i'm thinkin' a chisel & meat mallet as tools to open 'em. i saw a show where these (or similar) tools were applied to open, i think, ostrich eggs.

i almost put my post on your thread, then decided i should open a new one. i'm buying 1 or 2 of those duck eggs, too.

Yes, do show us a pic if you get one. I've never even seen one. I had to google to see what they look like. They're beautiful, almost like giant teal colored Easter eggs.

I remember when emu farms were big in Texas. Everyone thought they were going to get rich quick :yum:, NOT!
