Several times a year, I get with a couple of friends to cook up a themed meal. It takes us all day to prepare and eat the meal.
This past weekend we did Greek.
We made tzatziki, Kalamata olive bread, spanakopita (spinach pie) triangles AND casserole, saganaki (flaming cheese), eggplant fries, and lamb and vegs. in a clay pot. We purchased a couple of extremely sweet and decadent desserts and a bottle of Greek wine.
Every single thing turned out incredibly delicious!
Oh, yeah, and we carved Jack O' Lanterns and roasted the pumpkin seeds, too.
