1/2 cup of butter
1 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
1/3 cup of milk
3 cups of frozen mixed berries
cinnamon
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon raw sugar

Cut the butter into the flour. Add the milk and mix just until it comes together. Knead the dough a couple of times. Divide in half and press half of the dough into the bottom of the casserole dish. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Spread the berries on top. Sprinkle with some more cinnamon. Roll out the other half of the dough and place on top.

In a small saucepan, dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of water. Pour over the crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle the top with a tablespoon of raw sugar and bake an additional 20 minutes until crust begins to brown.

That looks awesome, Mama. If they clear the roads enough, I'm gonna go to store tomorrow to get some berries and will be making this for desert!
