this is an easy lasagna that doesnt require all the work but still is "like" lasagna

Your favorite spaghetti sauce one large jar or two cans (if you like sauce, you may want to use more)
1 to 1 1/2 lbs xtra lean ground round(beef) browned and drained if you wish to have meat in the sauce.
1 lb pasta cooked according to box
(shells or rotini work well)
1 32 oz container of Cottage Cheese or Ricotta Cheese
1 8 oz container of Sour Cream
8 oz of shredded mozzerella cheese(1/2 c reserved)
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
Salt
Pepper
Italian Seasoning
garlic
onion

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Once your pasta is cooked, drain well, place back into the pot or in a large bowl but keep off the heat.

While pasta is still warm, put in all ingredients except sauce and hamburger.

Mix well. Season to your taste with salt, pepper and italian seasoning if you wish.

Let sit for a few minutes

In the meantime, add the sauce to the hamburger, or just warm the sauce slightly.

Spray a 9x13 in pan. About 1/3 of the sauce on the bottom of the pan,
Place one layer of the noodle mix on top of sauce.

Repeat layers once more then end with one last layer of sauce.

Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 mins.

Remove foil, spread remaining mozzerella cheese on top of the casserole, back for 10 more mins or until cheese is melted and browning.

Remove and let sit for about 10 mins before serving.

This can be placed in a crock pot in the same layers and cooked on low for 6-8 hours.
