lottsa' eggs affected - 200+ million - location and brands:

The eggs were distributed from the farm in Hyde County, N.C., and reached consumers in Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia

sold under the brand names Country Daybreak; Crystal Farms; Coburn Farms; Sunshine Farms; Glenview; Great Value; as well as at Walmart and Food Lion stores

The recall involves eggs with the plant number P-105, with the Julian date range of 011 through 012 printed on either side of the carton or package.

=========================
now . . . Julian date 011 - 012 = January 11&12, 2018. that's the packing date.
sell by dates would be 30 days later, mid-February
use by dates would be 45 days later, early March.
so if you've had the eggs in the fridge since February or March, give it a gander.
then ask why the eggs are still there.....

I wish I could find duck eggs around - should try the Asian markets, I guess.

I've been buying the 78 cent a dozen eggs from WinCo but they are to watery for my liking. The price is right.

There is an herb and dairy farm not far from here.
The duck egg sign is at the end of the drive.
I'll stop one day.
Love duck eggs!
