Cherry Mash Bars

2 cups sugar
4 teaspoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup evaporated milk

Combine in sauve pan and bring to boil. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

Add:
2 cups mini marshmallows
12 oz. cherry chips

Combine until melted and pour into 9x3-inch pan lined with waxed paper. Cool in refrigerator.

Melt in double broiler or in microwave:

12 oz. chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
Stir in:
2 cups chopped Spanish peanuts

Let cool slightly and pour over cooled cherry layer. Let bars cool in refrigerator. Cut into squares and serve.
