I've been out of town today to visit with a good friend.
Early lunch was Panera Bread-- soups, salads and bagels.
Dinner was Cheddars restaurant.
Monte Cristos that were huge!

I put the three boneless beef ribs and a rib steak I grilled the past few days into the crock pot with sugar free BBQ sauce and onions. I'll bake russets to go with them.

A burger from The Burger Meister cookbook, Chicago beer burger with beer braised onions, mushroom ketchup, and homemade potato chips. Oh, the buns are homemade too.

OMG, Karen - you're killing me!

Did you like the beer burger? If so, would you please post the recipe and that photo in a new thread of its own?

Popcorn Shrimp, Cilantro-Lime Rice, Mexi-Corn and Salad

Popcorn Shrimp, Cilantro-Lime Rice.jpg

I went with my Cocktail Sauce-
The Warden took some Vadalia Salad Dressing, squirted in a bit of Horseradish Sauce, and that was a pretty nice dipping sauce as well...

Last night it was meatloaf (loaded with red, orange, yellow and green peppers, onion, bacon, mushrooms, 1 anchovy fillet (all chopped small in food processor), shredded cheddar cheese, spicy brown mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, splash hot sauce, egg and uncooked rolled oats), mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed baby spinach.

Holy cow, Chowder - I would have been all over that gorgeous steak!

And, Sass, it looks as if you found a spectacular pizza joint - yum!
