Me too John.
Ty was crazy about the Bandit movies.
I think that's why he got so involved with cb radio and bought a Trans Am.

I follow a guy on Facebook called Balin Wire. He posts a lot of car and motorcycle pictures. Today he posted quite a few of Burt and his Bandit car.

Saw this on Facebook...

RIP Burt Reynolds

“I miss her terribly. Even now, it’s hard on me. I don’t know why I was so stupid. Men are like that, you know. You find the perfect person, and then you do everything you can to screw it up.”

— Burt Reynolds, 2015 (speaking of Sally Field)

I thought he was very funny. Loved his show, "Evening Shade", though I might be the only one who did.

That's interesting, the recipe for stew.
He and Dinah Shore had a thing going for a while. She used to do cooking segments on her shows.
Wonder if he ever made that on her show?

I use almost all the same ingredients in my beef stew.

Have you ever seen “Best little whorehouse in Texas”? Lots of singing in that. I loved the cast - Burt, Dolly, Jim, Dom and Charles to name a few.

Some really good songs in that movie. I love Dolly’s version of hard candy Christmas. I have the soundtrack in vinyl.

And this song she sang with Burt.

No Peeps, that's one I haven't seen.
I liked the Bandit movies, Hooper, Longest Yard, Cannonball Run and of course Deliverance!

I like that Dolly Christmas song too.
