Default Acorn Bread

Well, if I lived on MV I'd give this a try. How about it Lee, worth a try?

Johnny, I suspect that this bread is NOT worth the effort that's required, ..... but I may be wrong.

You make it first and tell me if it is!

I've read that the acorn crop this year is abundant, at least, all over New England!

For some reason I never see many acorns out here in the NW. We do have small oaks but not a lot and believe it or not, they are protected. Our place in Edgartown was covered with oaks and the nuts were beginning to fall. I'd have been willing to try. I wonder if Bob's Redmill has acorn flower? The mast is good for the deer, turkey's and wood ducks.

Bob doesn't have it so it looks like it's Sue's product.

I was interested in the acorn biscotti, but it's $22 for a dozen, then $15 shipping.

Wonder how ole' Sue's business is doing with prices like that.

I may order some flour and try making the breakfast muffins and add some blueberries.
