Holiday Avatars

Halloween is fast approaching, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, then Christmas.
I think it would be fun if we found avatars to use during these holidays.
Anything to make the forum a bit more fun. It may even draw a few new members into the mix.
I got mine, I see Lifesaver has one.
Merely a suggestion. :smile:

so sorry but i have been having puter probs. i had to send my laptop to texas to be fixed. this is my daughters and it is sooooooooooo slow plus i can only use it when she isn't doing school work. i just saw this thread. sorry i guess you didn't see my post about puter probs!! i love doing the holiday avis and smilies thing. glad to see there is at least 1 other person who likes to have fun with it.

btw my avi is a gif but for some reason it isn't giffing (LOL not a word)

or some reason the animation is gone.

Take it into gifworks and resize it.. then it will.

thanks sass. i tried it but i am still not seeing the animation in my avi. it is supposed to flash a trick or treat sign. :sad:

You cannot resize a gif image and still have it have motion. They need created from scratch the size you want them.

If you all find extra avatars that you are not using post them as pics here and I'll add them to the user selectable avatars so they'll be around for years to come.

As long as you crop it to the right size, they'll work.

Open the image in the editor then select Edit>Resize.

If you select "resize" you don't loose any of the image from cropping. For avatars you can just specify the longest dimension (say 100) and constrain proportins to keep it from distorting.

sass i selected my avi from my computer (the gif you posted and i saved as ....) and it still doesn't work as an animated avi.

btw i can't see the ones you posted for doc .......... all i see are red X's
