LOL, way too long....

As long as it takes ??

Honestly, it seemed like it took forever. I grind post heat treat which means I have to be carefull about heat buildup. I use my fingers as a guide when I grind so I can tell when things get hot . I figure it hurts when it gets to about 200degrees (way below enough hear to mess up the temper)thwn I dunk it in water. All that nonsence means I have to grind fairly slow especially because it's thin.
All that means I probably have about 15-20hrs in it. I don't keep track, because that tends to make me rush things.

Your title is a little misleading.

That's not "Just a knife," it's a work of art! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Thanks folks, I appreciate the kind words.

Hopefully I'll have more to post soon, it been a weird summer.
Aside from trying to get a machine hooked up, I had a really bad bout with poison ivy and a fractured ankle.
