And yet another "healthy food" recall....

WASHINGTON, March 16, 2017 – Flagship Food Group, an Albuquerque, N.M. establishment, is recalling approximately 8,622 pounds of a frozen burrito product that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hard clear plastic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The frozen breakfast burrito item was produced on Sept. 22, 2016. The following product is subject to recall: [View Label (PDF only)]

  • 12-oz. 12”x5” paper card with plastic overwrap package labeled as “TRADER JOSE’S BREAKFAST BURRITOS Eggs, Potatoes, Cheese, Turkey Bacon,” lot code 266, SKU 96132 with package code A26616PFFG3 and case code 100-101280.
The product subject to recall bears establishment number “EST. P-45574” located on the product packaging. This item was shipped to retail distribution centers in Illinois and Pennsylvania.
The problem was discovered on March 15, 2017 when FSIS was notified by the company of three consumer complaints that were received on March 2, 3 and 9, 2017.
Of the three complaints received by the company, only one reported minor oral injury associated with consumption of this product. FSIS has received no additional reports of injury or illness from consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume them. This product should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
FSIS routinely conducts recall effectiveness checks to verify recalling firms notify theircustomers of the recall and that steps are taken to make certain that the product is no longer available to consumers. When available, the retail distribution list(s) will be posted on the FSIS website at www.fsis.usda.gov/recalls.
